Tencent больше не будет издавать PUBG Mobile в Индии

Tencent больше не будет издавать PUBG Mobile и PUBG MOBILE Lite на территории Индии. Такое решение корпорация приняла в связи с блокировкой игры в стране. Как сказано в официальном анонсе, право издавать игру в регионе возвращается к «владельцу интеллектуальной собственности PUBG» (PUBG Corp.).

Пару месяцев назад власти Индии запретили 118 китайских мобильных приложений, включая PUBG Mobile. Правительство страны мотивировало это решение желанием «защитить суверенитет и целостность страны».

Мобильная версия PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds была одной из самых популярных мобильных игр в Индии, где ее загрузили около 200 миллионов раз – это 21% от скачиваний приложения по всему миру.
